Dr. Qijin Emily Cheng is Assistant Professor of the Department of Social Work at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She specializes in using new information and communication technologies (ICTs) to research and promote mental health and suicide prevention. She has received the Young Researcher Award (2019) from CUHK and the Knowledge Exchange Excellence Award (2017) from the University of Hong Kong.

Esther Cheung is a registered social worker with 5+ experience in project management, proposal writing (commercial and academia), social innovation and applications of design thinking across various social services. She is also currently studying the Master of Arts Programme in Family Counselling, with an aim to polish her frontline applications with research training.

Migrant Writers of Hong Kong
Her name is Maria Nemy Lou Rocio, a domestic helper in Hong Kong. She co-founded Migrant Writers of Hong Kong in March 2021 which aims to create an inclusive environment for the writers in the migrant community and promote mental health through creative writing. She is also a volunteer in various NGO organizations as a mental health advocate and to help her fellows learn about their rights.

Ailenemae Salvador Ramos is a proud mother of 2 and happily married for 18 years. Originally from the Philippines, she has been working in Hong Kong as a domestic worker since 2010. She is the co-founder of Migrant Writers of Hong Kong and the author of the book “Beyond the Sunset”. She is a Mentor of the Uplifters community and an Ambassador of PathFinders Hong Kong, a member of the Mabuhay Toastmasters Club and a Resolve Foundation Hong Kong 2022 fellow.

Rodelia is a migrant domestic worker living in HK for 20 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Rodelia started serving the community at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. In 2017, she founded an online Facebook Page named Domestic Workers Corner where she and fellow group administrators help migrant domestic workers (MDW) in need. Rodelia continues to serve the MDW community by organizing training sessions to those caring for persons with disabilities, initiating mental health projects, promoting financial education and referring relevant individuals to legal assistance.
